Ingredients
Fish oil labels can often be confusing to new consumers.
The 1000mgs referred to is the total amount of fish oil that is contained in each soft gel. Incorporated within that 1000mgs are omega-3 oils. In our case the minimum amount is 50% or 500mgs.
Within the omega-3 oils are various omega-3 components the main ones of which are DHA, EPA and DPA. The total amount of these fatty acids add up to less than 500mgs because there are some other omega-3's present as well which are not listed.
Every batch of oil will have different levels of omega-3 and their components. Our label is as per the table below and the > indicated refers to the minimum value. The actual results are normally greater and can be seen by referring to our COA by clicking on the tab in the left hand column. The < indicates the maximum which means that in the case of Omega 6 that there will be no more than 40mgs per soft gel.
